Tucson Organic Gardeners Classes

Classes are open to all, donations accepted. 
Classes are the fourth Saturday of each month October to April, except December 2013 - 2014.

Saturday October 26th  10am in St. Mark's garden- Composting! Come and learn how to make your own nutrient rich soil from your kitchen scraps in your backyard, or even under the kitchen sink. Class will operate at any knowledge level, so come armed with questions about perfecting your system, or just getting started. 

 

Saturday November 23rd 10 am in St. Mark's garden- Basic Gardening and Soil. Learn how you can get started and grow your own lettuce and sweet peas all winter long- in the ground, in patio pots or in raised beds. A TOG expert will help identify best growing practices and planting times in our region. 

 

Saturday December 28- NO CLASS- enjoy the holidays season. Peruse our website for advice on bugs, tool maintenance and plan for Spring with our planting calendar

 

Saturday January 25th 10am - COMPOSTING! Please check back closer to time- talks are under way to host this at Tucson Botanical Gardens as a joint venture

 

Saturday February 22nd 10am- in St. Mark's garden- Basic Gardening and Soil (see above)

 

Saturday March 22nd 10am- COMPOSTING!
