The Tucson Organic Gardeners meets the third Tuesday of each month from September through April. Doors open at about 7:00pm for Meet and Greet and Gardeners Question Time. The presentation begins at 7:30pm. The meetings will be at St. Marks, in the Geneva Hall; please park in the lot off 2nd Street. See map below for location info.

"Unhealthy and Unsustainable: Why Growing Numbers of People are Saying NO to Genetically Modified Foods"

The movement to avoid genetically modified foods (also known as genetically modified organisms or GMOs) is one of the fastest-growing food movements. In this presentation, nationally known nutritionist, author and GMO-free educator Melissa Diane Smith will explain the many compelling reasons why growing numbers of people are shopping and eating non-GMO, and how you can, too, to help create a safe, healthy, sustainable food system.
